I still need to remind myself that this actually happened.
I was fortunate enough to have a 1x1 meeting with Alan Rickman. Since I was the only one there we got to talk for a couple minutes. He's quite nice in person, a very pleasant man to talk to. I showed him a drawing I made several months ago of Snape riding on a segway, he looked at it and said "This is wonderful". I was so happy he liked it. ^_^ I asked him if he'd ever consider riding on a segway and I don't really think he knew what one was. He said it looked as though he'd fall right off! Then he asked me how I draw, since he noticed my guide dog standing next to me. I explained that I have 20/400 vision, that I can't see colors well and that my detail vision isn't great. I was so astounded that he was interested in me, he wouldn't have asked if he wasn't interested, right? I didn't want to take up too much of his time, so I asked if I could get a picture with him, and he said yes. (Thank you David for taking this picture, great job bro!) We shook hands and said goodbye. As I walked away I could barely breath. Meeting Alan was one of my life goals, and I am overjoyed that it got accomplished. Maybe we'll meet again someday, but for now, I am much more than content.
Here is
Snape on a Segway
What was he like?
What a marvelous, marvelous story...
But as for he had also started his career as a graphic designer, I think he had really interest into knowing how are you drawing and would not start getting bothered to hear more about...
I see him as someone who really enjoy having interesting chats
SECOND!!
